Minutes of the chapter meeting held on 09/22/2012 at 4.30pm to discuss 
Present:  Ravi, Sohil, Nagy, Amrish, Sowmya

1.Ravi briefed about the efforts by the chapter to organize the Asha East Coast conference 2012.

2.Marathon training program progress was reviewed.

3.Ustav 2013 and preparations were discussed. Opportunity to organize the event with the help of high school students as event coordinators was discussed and decided to explore.

4.Ravi briefed about the opportunity to host Ms. Simantini Dhuru associated with Avehi-Abcus project and RTE activist as a speaker at the chapter on Nov 3. Ravi would follow up on it and take care of the planning.

5.Sohil presented the KNUC annual report and the financial proposal. The annual report submitted by KNUC was reviewed. An amount of Rs 20000 was left as there was a delay in sending the funds from Asha last year. It was decided that amount be paid to the teachers as bonus. The meeting felt that the progress was satisfactory. The financial proposal from KNUC for the 2012-2013 was discussed, and as in the previous years, the meeting agreed to support 70% of the amount requested. The  meeting approved  to Rs. 504000 for 2012-13. Sohil was requested to use the exchange conversion available at the time of submitting the project checklist along with a request to the central treasury team to further adjust the amount to be sent to KNUC based on the conversion at the time of releasing the funds. Sohil was requested to upload the reports to the project website and prepare a checklist for disbursal of the funds.
