Dear Vijayashree,
It is item No6 on the list
For children in Tirumullai Vasal Village in Sirkazhi dist.
The total cost of the materials was Rs 2,50,823 of which Rs 142004 was from the money Think India Foundation gave us.
We had used money from our buffer funds, as soon as you had approved of the project and spent it in anticipation of your cheque. That is why this was done as early as march while your cheque got collected in June 2005.
You had asked for photos. Those are with Lakshmi Renganathan, through whom this area was identified.
I have copied Lakshmi on this mail.

Dorothy,
What a great report. It is good to know that Trinity's financial support assisted 505 children. That is incredible. I am sure that this effort will become a legacy at Trinity. We should make sure that there is continued communication so that there will be an effort for Trinity to "adopt" this method of assisting children in South India that are less fortunate than them.

I will ask Trinity how they might continue this program.

Ken

Re: Trinity Tsunami Good Works Article
Dear Sheila and Vikki:
Thank you so much for the article that you did in the Good Works section of the AJC on April 20, 2005 regarding Trinity School's efforts towards Tsunami Relief in South India. The article went prominently on the bulletin board of the school, and it provided value to what these students had done over the previous four months. Thank you for your support on this effort.
Yours truly,

Dorothy,
Thanks so much for these wonderful pictures and notes. I know you had to take time from your practice and I thank both you and Rohit for allowing time from your busy law practice to travel and spend a day so that Trinity could participate in this relief program. Also, thanks for using your personal bank account to facilitate these wire transfers so we can get the money to the children expeditiously.
Ken
