29) Brief long-term Objectives:
The aim of NICE is to provide Food and Shelter of children currently employed as laborers. NICE also caters to the needs of orphans and children of single parents. Apart from food and shelter, the school also looks into the health and career needs of these children.
Even though currently NICE takes care of the needs of only boys, there are plans to start a residential school for girls as well in the near future. Search is on to buy a good area in and around the current residential school and start construction.

The residential school provides basic literacy and vocational training for its students. No fee is collected from the children. All expenses are borne by the school itself. NICE aims to motivate parents of children subjected to child labor to liberate them from their hardships impart vocational based training and help them become entrepreneurs who will eventually serve their communities.

Needy Illiterate Children Education (NICE) provides balanced academic and vocational education to orphan, poor and severely deprived children in rural Andhra Pradesh. A free residential school, NICE admits primary school dropouts and puts them through a 1-year bridge curriculum before starting high school education in CBSE curriculum. NICE wants to turn these deprived children into rural entrepreneurs by imparting vocational education along with formal education. NICE takes its responsibility to its donors very seriously, and is run extremely transparently. All its accounts are published on the Internet and Annual Reports are sent to all its donors.

Progress made: There were additional classrooms and library constructed this year compared to last year and the number of students is expected to rise to 90 to 95 from 65 this academic year. It has been observed that the quality of education and health of the children has improved considerably.
