| 2. The ba(n)dh (barrier) to stop the river from eroding the bank. Its made of a bamboo frame with soil filled plastic/jute bags. This works much better than only soil. | |

| 4. A ghat, where the boat stops for some to get down & some to get in. Note the 2 levels. They are need for the high & the low tide as the height of river surface varies. | |
